What is the Be Fit Program?
A weekly 6-session course for overweight youth between the ages of 8-16 and their parents.
Each session includes a nutrition lesson, physical activity, goal-setting, support session/discussion for parents, and a healthy snack.
The benefits of a healthy lifestyle are taught using fun, interactive nutrition lessons, physical activity and goal-setting.
Includes parent education during each session that provides strategies to support your children in making lasting healthy changes.
Participation includes tracking of weight, height, and body fat percentage, and monitoring of physical activity and eating behaviors during the program and continued through mobile App.
